ASSISTANT BUILDING SURVEYOR / GRADUATE BUILDING SURVEYOR
The Role
We’re seeking a motivated Assistant / Graduate Building Surveyor to join our team. You’ll work closely with experienced surveyors and be exposed to a wide range of projects, developing both your capability and professional judgement.
The role will suit someone who is driven, with impeccable attention to detail, and a strong desire to learn and grow as a building surveyor.
Key Responsibilities
- Process new building permit applications
- Perform permit related administration tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
- Assist with building permit assessments and documentation preparation
- Learn and apply relevant building codes, regulations, and standards
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders in a clear and professional manner
- Attend mandatory inspections alongside registered surveyors
What We’re Looking For
- Recent graduate in Building Surveying, including those with up to two years of relevant experience
- Sound foundational understanding of the Victorian Building Act, NCC, Regulations, and applicable standards
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders
- Meticulous attention to detail, with a strong commitment to accuracy in compliance-based work where precision is critical
- Strong initiative, motivation, and a commitment to continuous learning
- A proactive mindset and disciplined approach to professional development
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current and valid driver’s licence

BUILDING SURVEYOR / ASSISTANT BUILDING SURVEYOR
The Role
We’re seeking an experienced Technical Consultant/Building Surveyor who brings both technical expertise and a passion for client service. You’ll work across an exciting mix of Class 1–10 and 2–9 projects and play a key role in delivering smooth, efficient, and compliant outcomes for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and prepare building permit documentation for residential and commercial projects
- Attend mandatory inspections (with RBS or independently, if registered)
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders with confidence and clarity
- Provide expert technical advice and support
- Perform related administrative duties with accuracy and attention to detail
What We’re Looking for
- Minimum 3 years-experience in a similar role within the private-sector
- Relevant Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Degree qualification
- Registered Building Surveyor or actively working towards registration
- Strong knowledge of the Victorian Building Act, NCC, Regulations, and applicable standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of accuracy, organisation, and problem-solving ability
- A motivated, proactive attitude with a desire to grow professionally
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Current and valid driver’s licence
